01.30.2018 - TARGA ViViSalute Award 2018 (XIV Edition)
On Tuesday january 30 2018, from 10:00 a.m., the MEIER University in Milan (www.unimeier.eu), in collaboration with the ASSEPRIM (Federazione Nazionale Servizi Professionali per le Imprese), CERGAS (Centro di Ricerche sulla Gestione dell’Assistenza Sanitaria e Sociale) of the BOCCONI University and the VIVISALUTE Lombardia, organizes, at the CONFCOMMERCIO, in Corso Venezia n. 51 in Milan, the opening ceremony of the academic year 2017/2018, during which the TARGA VIVISALUTE AWARDS (XIV edition) are awarded. Those awards are dedicated to the Italian excellence in the world (www.vivisalutelombardia.eu).
After the institutional opening greetings, among which the greeting by the Rector Dea D’Aprile, the following speeches are held: “Crimes victims. Crime, damages and compensation” curated by Paolo Vinci and Francesco Saverio Losito from the Centro Vittime di Reato, “Design a future for the health” curated by Elio Borgonovi (President of CERGAS Bocconi), “New frontiers of pharmaceutics in Italy” curated by Marino Mascheroni (Pro-Rector), “Under the lens of trends. How trends are guiding strategies and markets” curated by Gerardo Coco from the Economics and Finance Department, “The new Welfare Department, the classes about the profiling in evolutive age, Sport Welfare, new frontiers” curated by the Dean Giovanni Lodetti, “Presentation of the sport department” curated by the Dean Nino Panvini, “Ethics, psyche and solidarity” curated by Donato Santarcangelo from the Ethics, Epistemology and Science Philosophy department.

12.15.2017 - XXII ROMA FILM FESTIVAL (ConSceSo)
On december 15 2017, at the Teatro Quirino in Rome, on the occasion of the XXII edition of ROMA FILM FESTIVAL (RFF) grand opening, chaired by Adriano Pintaldi, which is held in Rome from december 16 to 22 2017, in partnership with the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia – Cineteca Nazionale, Lazio Region Office and the Goods and Cultural Activities, Tourism Ministry (MIBACT) with this year homage to the director-scenographer Flavio Mogherini, the new Contest for Young Sustainable Scenographer (ConSceSo) was called. It is organized by the Roma Film Festival and the ETHICANDO Association in Milan (www.ethicando.it), chaired by Marco Eugenio Di Giandomenico, with the aim of promoting emerging talents in the field of scenographies for screen specifically innovative thanks to the use of new technologies.
The Contest, which is held in collaboration with several entities and institutions among which the ARD&NT Institute (constituted by Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera and Politecnico di Milano) and the Accademia di Belle Arti Kandinskij in Trapani, is dedicated to Flavio Mogherini, a golden-age era master of the Italian screen history, a scenographer, great innovator, during his carrier working next to other masters like Mario Soldati, Luigi Zampa, Pierpaolo Pasolini, Mario Bava, Steno, Roberto Rossellini, Carlo Lizzani, and being successful as a director also, passing through alsmost forthy years of the Italian screen history, great observator and original interpreter of the Italian morals evolution.
The two organizing entities have created a technical-scientific jury, chaired by Marco Eugenio Di Giandomenico and a Honors Committee, chaired by Adriano Pintaldi, participated, among the others, by Vittorio Giacci (screen critic), Adriano Tagliavia (postproduction expert), Laura Delli Colli (Nastri D’Argento President) and other artists, icons of the screen industry as Franco Zeffirelli, Giuliano Montaldo, Giancarlo Giannini, Luina Wertmuller, Lamberto Bava.
The iniziative is held in collaboration with the Videoart and Filmmaking master and the Photography master organized by the ARD&NT Institute (constituted by Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera and Politecnico di Milano), both codirecting by Marco Eugenio Di Giandomenico.
The contest, which has a biennial basis, provides the sending by the candidates of some screen scenography projects, following the specifications and deadlines written in a regulation which will be proposed during a press conference within the month of February 2018 and be published on the web site www.ethicando.it.
The winners will be awarded with a special certificate during a specific ceremony where the main screen producing players will be invited.
The contest is announced during the opening evening of the XXII Edition of the ROMA FILM FESTIVAL with the special presenting of the actress Vanessa Galipoli.
12.05.2017 - Conference INTERNATIONAL FRONTIERS OF SUSTAINABLE ART
On Tuesday, December 5, 2017, in Erice (TP), at the Palazzo SALES, starting at 11:00 am, the Kandinskij Academy of Fine Arts of Trapani, in collaboration with the ETHICANDO Association of Milan and the Municipality of Erice, organizes the event entitled "International Frontiers of Sustainable Art" on the subject of international cooperation between the territory of Trapani/Sicily and the China about the applied arts related to the processing of ceramics and porcelains.
The occasion arises from the official visit to Trapani by Cheng Yajie, president of the University of Jingdezhen (China), which will start cooperation programs in the training and artistic field with the Academy and with the main territorial public entities, especially the city of Erice, which has ancient traditions of reference.
After the institutional greetings of Daniela Toscano, mayor of Erice, Silvia Guaiana, president of the Kandinskij Academy, and of Cheng Yajie, president of the University of Jingdezhen, Marco Eugenio Di Giandomenico, economist and critic of the sustainability of art, as well as the screening of the film "Giants in Milan - Sustainable Art", produced in collaboration with the City of Milan.
The actress Vanessa Galipoli is the conductor of the event.

12.02.2017 - Solo Exhibition - IN CORPORE ARTIS by Giuseppe Piccione
On the previous december 02 2017, from 06:00 p.m., in Canicattini Bagni (SR), at the Museo TEMPO dei Sensi, del Tessuto, dell’Emigrante e della Medicina Popolare in Palazzo Cassarino at Via De Pretis n. 18, has opened the solo exhibition by Giuseppe Piccione entitled “IN CORPORE ARTIS”.
It is about a sort of multi-driver event wandering in the syracusan territory, patronized by the Accademia di Belle Arti Kandinskij di Trapani, and expecting other two dates:
- on december 07 2017, from 08:00 p.m., at the concept store and event space Le Forme della Convivialità at via Perasso n. 14/16 in Siracusa, a culinary performance based on the Piccione’s artworks conceptualisms is held,;
- on december 17 2017, from 06:00 p.m., in occasion of the finissage (closing ceremony) in Palazzo Cassarino, the performance IN CORPORE ARTIS is held, through which the artist executes an Action Painting performance using food colors on a 100 x 100 cm bread based surface, with site-specific soundart and lighting effects. Square fragments of bread has given to the audience at the end of the performance.
The event curator is Angelica Gervasi, and provides for the critical comment by Marco Eugenio Di Giandomenico, the Accademia Kandinskij in Trapani deputy director. He is among the most important and international experts about “sustainable” art, and codirector of the Video Art & Filmmaking master and the Photography master, both organized by the ARD&NT Institute (constituted by the Accademia di belle Arti di Brera and Politecnico di Milano).
During the opening the catalogue presentation containing critical comments by Marco Eugenio di Giandomenico, Aurelia Nicolosi and Stefania Altavilla is held as well as the special appearance by the actresses Vanessa Galipoli and Lucia Sardo, and several institutions throughout the partecipations of Giovanni Cafeo (region Sicilia deputy), Marilena Miceli (major of the municipality of Canicattini Bagni), Loretta Barbagallo (alderman of cultural affairs of the municipality of Canicattini Bagni), Paolino Uccello (president of Sistema Rete Museale Iblei) and other cultural and artistic personalities.
Giuseppe Piccione, after his exhibition “MUSE-X” which was successful at the KOART gallery in Catania, during the last month of july, prosecutes his track on the “sustainable” art path, with a specific mix made by photography, painting, sculpture, cinema, theater, music, food&drink, making the bridging with the arts real thanks to the valuable mix of new technologies which are evolutive instruments of his creativity and expressive techniques.
